I heard he changed his song and dance awhile ago.
His DNA wasnt found at the scene, just as the WM3's DNA wasnt found at the scene. Nothing ties him or them to the crime, at all. All are innocent.
He indeed was a odd guy, he had a similar experience happen to him as a kid, he relayed in Paradise Lost. And he beat his son.
That said the real odd guy is Terry Hobbs. He is the only person with his DNA at the crime scene. The man who murdered three boys including his own, and then sat around at let three innocent men languish in jail for 15 years. Nothing John Mark Byers did will ever be as weird and wrong as what Terry did.
Terry is a killer. And people continue to buy into all of it.
The directors of Paradise Lost are heroes, and they made 2 mindblowing films
but they also unwittingly propogated something they were condemning. Watching PL and PL2 its quite clear they think the WM3 are innocent and Byers is guilty as sin. We now know he is innocent, but people like me, the pro Wm3 side, were involved in some serious accusations. We were wrong.
