IMO Favre cant walk away till he's physically unable to do it...he's an attention whore.Him and Gruden have a strong relationship that dates back to GB

even though Gruden hasn't had playoff success since TB SB, I think it has to do with lack of production at qb and an aging Defense...he's still a great coach imo

    Now get em

This firing does add some speed to the coaching carousel in the NFL.

Instead of Gruden, I think you guys should give Herm another shot when the Chiefs let him go next week.

    :ugeek:
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

I wouldn't put that loser in charge of washing jock straps

"You Play to win the Game"...what a loser, I'd take Rich Kotite back instead

    Wow....Kotite?? That's a low blow against Herm, man. ;)

I'm just hoping to hell Pioli cuts him loose asap..

and you are correct. he is a loser.

there's specualtion that Pioli might use him for another year and then go after Cowher..

Cowher would be a good move, but I cannot stomach another year of Herm in KC

St. Louis, Detroit, Denver, Tampa, Cleveland, N.Y. Jets, Oakland (early in season)...with two retirees both replaced by head coaches in waiting.

  • Are NY Jet fans happy they got rid of Mangini ?

cuz now we have him here in Cleveland, I think it's an upgrade over Romeo, but I was really hoping for Cowher.

Chucky is worthless. He only won the Super Bowl 'cause Tony Dungy built the team and sqandered the talent he had after that. His players didn't like him, ownership didn't like him, the media and fans didn't like him, and he didn't win big games. The Jets are better off without him, IMHO.
I smile, but who am I kidding...
