I like the pm button under each avatar... makes things easier
I like that I'm not gonna have to delete pm's all the time... surely I'll NEVER get to 4000
There are others but I'm tired and going to bed.

i like avatars
i like the ability to post highly amusing pics
all the buttons that save you typing [ bold] and all that
i just really like all of it... i like change.
the colours are soothing.
I hadn't noticed the PM button before reading Helen's post but I like that now too.
oh and I like having more room for PM's too, just in case.
I like the fact that I don't have to type the smilies. (or the and stuff, like dunky mentioned.)
and even though thy smilies ARE weird alien heads, I like the new variety.
once I find a cool avatar, I'm gonna like those a lot too.
otherwise, i think the old board was just much more user friendly
And the handy chart of emoticons :( :? :x :P     :!: :?:   :geek: :ugeek:
See, that was ultra easy to do.
I couldn't agree more.
Oh and this is my favourite new smilie  (that one's gonna get used a LOT I think).
I don't mind having the post count but I'd be happy enough too if they got rid of it.

Well said. There does not need to be another reason for people to post stupid things or add to dumb threads.
+1
The whole count thing came into play in a negative way when posters with lower numbers were considered, at times, to be less knowledgeable about the band or less of a fan. I never had that happen to me, but did witness a few unfortunate incidents.
Why am I still struggling with color scheme - the green? Green is supposed to be soothing - that's why in the old days Dr's always wore green scrubs to calm their patient's nerves. Guess I'm old and resistant to change lol!
I'm really not keen on the skin... Do wish there was an option to change it.
The ability to change font and such so easily is great and the edit buttons for just about everything!
I've never been a post-whore, and I've never taken anyones post count into consideration when I'm talking to them.

If there was a reason, it was you.

oooooo this is true!!! Thanks for the heads up!
How do you get to print view?
Scroll to the top of the page. Look on the right hand side, under the red Riot Act skull, and there is a tiny picture of a printer. Clicking it takes away the color and (for some of us) makes it easier to read. This is indeed a good thing about this board!
Why not just wear blood red scrubs then...
Thanks. That does make it easier to read. I was one who complained about moving to the new board, but now I am getting used to it.
Not to get off topic, but was it ever determined if only Ten Club members can post here?
"Originally, OR attire was white to emphasize cleanliness. However, the combination of bright operating lights and an all-white environment led to eyestrain for the surgeon and staff. By the 1950s and 1960s, most hospitals had abandoned white OR apparel in favor of various shades of green, which provided a high-contrast environment, reduced eye fatigue, and made bright red blood splashes less conspicuous."
