I noticed this poking around on my profile and was doing some magical thinking that this might increase my chances of a signed deluxe set! ;)

    it is there. but there was a time where i had nothing in my order history. they straightened it all out with a e-mail from me.

    the 12/10 is the date they announced the re-release and the day i ordered it.

    I know random sets are signed...but there is nothing in my order history that says "Signed" Just "2008 Ten Super Deluxe Edition"....

    hmmmm....could that be good news for you :) ....and bad news for me?? :cry:


    EDIT: no ones purchase says "SIGNED"...I misunderstood. sorry to scare you all. ;)

    It's not very random if they give them out first-in first-served is it? Anyway, I hope that's not how they do it because I was on my honeymoon and didn't get to order until the 16th! I'd like to be the guy that orders on the last day of the preorders and still gets a signed copy! :)

    That is not random at all! Nor does it make sense. Nor do I hope that is what they are doing because I am yet to order mine :D

    but it does seem strange that it is listed as signed in your order history, i think you are in luck.

    I ordered mine on 12/10/08 too but mine does not say "signed". :cry:

    I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for one though...

    How many of these do you think were sold through 10C? I'm wondering what percentage will be signed, I can't see them writing their names more than 100 times tops.

    I'd say anywhere between 3 and 5K sold... and they will probably only sign as many as 500 tops IMO... unless theyre feeling ambitious... and i hope they are for what this package cost and for how loyal we are as a fan base

    That seems realistic... roughly one lucky person per ten. The truth is though, this is a pretty special set on its own - with or without autographs.

    Not to compare apples to oranges...but Trent Reznor signed 2,500 copies of the ultra-deluxe version of Ghosts I-IV when released.

    So...you can guess from there...

    any idea when the last day for preorders is? I can't bear to part with 140 dollars for something like this, but i think if they gave me a deadline I'd have to :D

    i wouldnt wait too much longer if your hearts set on it... i would think end of january to mid february will be the cut off

    At $140 each I'm pretty sure they didn't sell very many more sets than could be signed. I think chances will be good. It's probably just a postcard or something that comes with the set that the band could have signed a thousand copies of..I'm staying optimistic about it :mrgreen:
