new board question

Hello, first post on new board for me.

question: on the old board i use to be able to hover my mouse over the post to read the first few sentences rather than opening the entire msg. I cant seem to do this on the new board. Is there a setting i need to change or is this just not possible on new board?

    this is one of the things i miss most. the other is clicking on a link opening in a new window, its anoying to have to hit the back button

    if you use firefox, just middle-click on the link to open it on a separate tab.
    If you use IE...why?
