My cousin got one and absolutely loves it. :)

The wife and I are such "old school" book people that we just can't pull the trigger on making this investment.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

That's why I referenced it as an investment.....because we would need two.

It's totally worth the money to me. I got a $50 discount because oprah had some promo code on her website. I think it's well worth the money if you read a lot. You don't have tons of books to get rid of and cluttering your pad :).

My mom loves hers and has been trying to get me to get one. I would jump on it, but I'm not a fan of DRM. So until I can easily put something of my own on it, they can suck it.

You can put your own stuff of your own on a Kindle by emailing it as an attachment (each kindle has an email address).

oh yeah definitely, so your definitely getting a good deal. You can get all the major papers and blogs. You can buy a hardcover for 6 or seven bucks versus $25. I think it's awesome. :D

I was skeptical of this thing at first (I didn't really know much about it rather than you could read books electronically). And I thought it was kind of a waste, a piece of technology that really didn't accomplish alot for the price... But I started doing some research, and seeing all this thing can do, and I think I'm going to buy one. It looks awesome.

Im not one for technical gadgets..I have an old LG cell phone that doesn't even have a camera on it for gods sake. But really you won't be sorry if you buy it. I just think it's so awesome how you can just get a book almost instantly.

I would like to see one in action to see how easy there are to use. I don't know if I could ever justify getting one though.

You can meet up with someone that has one. :). On amazon, on the kindle area they have a section you can click on to meet someone around you who owns one. I didn't do it but Im very satisfied.
