Sam Bradford is returning to OU for next year, hell yeah. So is Gresham, badass tightend. And McCoy, who would have been drafted in the first day to the NFL, is also coming back. hell yeah. get us a few receivers and an ol and it'll be round 2 of the national championship.

looks like Tebow might come back to Florida also.

sweet.

Tebow is coming back, so the road to the SEC Championship looks like it will go through Gainesville again.

2009 Is going to be a great year- the 3 best QB's all comming back. The OKlahoma/Texas game will be huge. I am sure USC will have reloaded too.

Beanie Wells left, which is sad but not unexpected. Kinda disappointed given all his talk about wanting to make a run for the Heisman and win a championship. That said, he didn't have a single season where he stayed healthy, so he was always suspect anyway.

The Buckeyes will have some serious competition this season though... Penn State and Iowa look to be in good shape, and Mich State and Northwestern could also be competitive.

USC is always talented... that early USC-OSU game should be fantastic. Since McCoy WAS all of Texas's offense, they'll be just as good as last year. Bradford and Tebow both returning is a surprise, but both those teams should be pretty damn good. I think the top 5 this season could look almost exactly the same as last season...

  • A very early preseason Top 25 poll....it ain't exactly rocket science to come up with these predictions, but I would pretty much agree with him. He had taken note of the mighty Rebels and the rest of the nation won't be able to ignore them for long!

OLE MISS REBELS! SEC CHAMPIONS -- well, at least the west -- 2009!

Don't forget the Utah/TCU game ! It actually was a BIGGER game in '08!

I see them shopping the pick...top rated prospect is an OLineman....are the Lions' fans going to be happy with a slow rebuilding process after watching what Atlanta and Miami did this season?

That is true, I don't really know how much either team brings back this year. But with Utah's bowl win, they may start the season ranked high with a lot of players back.

No....they rotated off each others schedules this year. I really do think the Rebs will stand a good chance of making their first trip to the title game next season, but I would be really surprised if they have what it will take to beat them again...mainly just because Tebow will sitll be pissed about it. I do think Snead will really make a name for himself next season though....he really came on the second half of the season

I would be really happy with a rematch of this year's SEC Championship.....Roll Tide!

Damn dude. I must admit, I am one the biggest 'bama haters you will ever find, but I guess that should be taken as a compliment because I wouldn't care if they didn't dismantle Ole Miss nine times out of ten. I wish more folks had a reason to hate Ole Miss.

So, do you think the Tide will have the stuff to do it again? Honestly, they did just slip by in a few games this season and they will be without JPW (I can't even type his name because I got so sick of hearing every announcer use all three every time they mentioned him). Do they have another QB who is expected to step in and take control?

New quarterback, couple of new offensive linemen....but I think they'll be okay.

BTW....just saw that Sanchez is leaving USC for the NFL.

Hey slipping by is a Crimson Tide tradition...at least going back to the Gene Stallings era.
