$50; rip off; could have got the book and the poster for that. Also, it's a little different for the Tacoma show and not as cool.

Not worth $50 in my opinion. Plus, this economy is killing me!

Freebie one had some great metallic inks - not sure if this one does - the blue/red combo is killing me aesthetically. Print doesn't have much flow. Concept is good though (for collectors who have many of the posters incorporated) - lettering on this one better too. That all said, a pass for me.

D'oh! Missed out on this sale! Did anybody get their newsletter or email that it was going up for sale?
Alway's did get an email that a new poster hours or a day before it would go on sale.

I did not get an e-mail. I saw a post here on the forum. I went to the website and picked one up

I just couldn't justify spending 58.00 on that poster. It just didn't seem that great. I know there were only 100 made, but couldn't they have been a little more creative. The small print sent out with the book looked better than the one for sale. I think I would rather invest the money in one of the many posters that need framing.

Totally understand the people who bought it, but I am trying my best to fight this addiction. :D

Yeah I won that bid but by mistake, I bid a large amount of money and when I tried to correct the error was too late. Now I'm stuck with a red borgata.

This could be one of the rarest PJ posters ever..$50 is a steal, plus it's signed by both Ames artists and it's NOT the edition that came with the book

based on the seller's answer to me when i asked him to elaborate on the exact condition of the poster, i can tell you the poster is far from "excellent/near mint".

I shit and I stink. I'm real, join the club.

A friend, he called, I didn't mention a thing. The last thing he said was, "Be sound". Sound. I contemplated an awful thing, I hate to admit. I just thought those would be such appropriate last words. But I'm still here.

I know the economy is bad, blah blah blah but what is up the Ames Haters, not only are folks not buying up Ames A/P's as fast but all the trashing that goes on at expresso beans? Is Klausen the real reason why there are so many poster consumers, I agree his artwork is better but I don't mind Ames posters. It is a whole different style and artistic approach to gig posters than Klausen, Emek and others. I don't know, I kinda like this poster for a bunch of reasons. All I know is that in 05 anything Ames A/P sold for a good buck on ebay and were highly desirable to collectors....I think we are just spoiled in a way with PJ posters, there is a ton of garbage that sells for allot more and people jerk off to the shit like Jesus himself made the poster....

Some of my favorites poster are Ames Bros posters, the latest one i like it a lot. I don't really care if people don't have anything good to say about them nobody is going to change their minds.
