I just got an email from Amazon.com about their new "Pearl Jam Store" and with a Deluxe Edition or Collector's Edition Preorder you also receive an MP3 Download of "Once" Live at the Palladium.

Pretty cool promo I thought, not as cool as a chance for an autographed version, but cool nonetheless.

    yeah, i think the fact they are signing any is pretty awesome. i am stoked about what's to come! the band has always done right by the fans.

    You also get the mp3 if you buy the Deluxe edition (CDs and DVD), so you don't have to buy the Collector's edition if that's not your thing.

    But it looks like you can buy the track for a buck without buying anything else from Amazon. So it's really not a big loss at all:

    Bonus Track is only for US people.

    but for non-US, shipping is a whopping $43.5 cheaper!
    add to that faster delivery and only paying in 2 months... against the chance of a signed copy?
    to each their own.. I save my money for the gigs ;)

    Well, I can live without the download. I would rather order from 10C anyway and have a chance at a signed copy. Even if it's not, who cares. I am getting it for the music anyways.

    I hope it ends up being like the release of Jeff Aments tone cd, and what seemed like all the cd's that were ordered from 10 club seemed to have a bonus guitar pic in them!

    has anyone been able to download this yet? i pre-ordered the deluxe edition from amazon and received the email stating that I could download "once," but when i go to amazon it says "album only" instead of "buy mp3." is this not going to be available until the release date of the deluxe edition???

    Nope, not all as I didn't receive one. :cry::( It was a pretty high percentage though as I think the poll ended up with something like 80% receiving one. :)
