New board means need to pay to access it????

You can register an account here without needing to buy a membership in the Ten Club. But you will not be able to use the Ten Club Message Board or have access to exclusive Ten Club content. But you will be able to make purchases in the GOODS store and receive emails from Pearl Jam.

I'm a 10C member for I guess 13-14 years now, and will be for lots more years, but I think this leaves out a bunch of (non 10C paying) fans

I never realised that this board had so much "trouble" with non paying members who floaded the board and left all those posts we didnt want to read

there was probably a good reason to do this (at least I hope so) but sad it had to come down to this ... imo: PJ is about the fans, the community around the band and -most important- sharing the love for our PJ

    Yeah, there is probably a good reason, but the problem is NOTHING is ever communicated, so people speculate every possible nefarious reason behind everything.

    10 Club probably wanted to cut down on the crap being posted and the easy fix was to only permit REGISTERED people to post. There will be more accountability and responsibility I would imagine.

    It's quite a change. I'm gonna miss some of the folks on the other board. This new board is looking pretty good and not so crowded.

    I'm fine with the change. No complaints here!

    i don't think it will make a difference to the crap being posted.. it will still continue.
    unless they want to kick members out of the 10c when they are banned from the pit as well... :shock:
