I though this was about the MLB pitcher, Tom Gordon. Why would anyone love him? Your subject is much better.

King is my favorite author. Haven't read this one in awhile so I don't remember the ending. I'll have to check it out again. I remember enjoyinjg it at the time because it was a real change of pace for him. Everyone who thinks King writes nothing but horror should pick up some of his later books.

Same boat here...I cant remember the ending either. I kept telling my kid he should read 'Tom Gordon' once I finished it, now I'll demand it so he can refresh my memory. I am right in the middle of Kings latest "JUST AFTER SUNSET" so far so good.

I too read this book so many years ago that I forget the ending.. I remember really liking it.. and being a Red Sox fan helps the flow... I remember giggling when I read about the 1800-54-Giant commercials..they were on all the time.

this is exactly the kind of king book i like. i dont much go for his horror cause i dont have nightmares so i dont see the point. but stories like ...tom gordon, the body and misery... yeah i like those the best.
