Has anyone ever noticed that when Johnny Depp is talking, not acting, but just giving an interview that he and Eddie almost sound exactly alike.

    There is a guy who plays a bully in a movie called Powder, he looks exactly like Eddie. Dont know his name or anything, but they could be identical twins.

    Definitely yes, as I stated in a thread I started before, and especially after seeing Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas he sounds just like Eddie. If anyone were to make a movie about Pearl Jam or just about Ed himself Johnny Depp would be a perfect fit for the role :D

    I honestly have never thought this when i saw or heard johnny depp. i dont see it...

    but i DO think that russel crowe would make a perfect eddie in a movie. I went to DC for a weekend once and he was filming a movie about 7 steps away from my hotel, and when my friends and i left at night to go to the bar, we saw him and at first i thought it was Ed, cause he had long hair. I was about to go nuts. But then i realized it was crowe. that and he is really good at doing other voices. i think he'd be perfect.

    I don't think that Johnny looks like Eddie. It's his voice that is similar. Personally, I think Johnny Depp is very different from Eddie "looks" wise. I enjoy looking and listening to both of them....Totally hot! ;)

    Wow, I don't see or hear that at all. I think Ed is totally hot but Johnny Depp has always creeped me out a little. Not that he isn't a good actor, he's just no Ed.

    He IS a much better actor than Ed. Eddie's acting is sub par at best :oops:

    something about both of their voices puts me in a trance. ex depp on actors studio interview.
