A DJ in my town gave out misleading info on PJ

He claimed that the Ten re-issue was of FOUR different versions of the songs. As if they mixed it four different ways! He claimed that all the re-issues of all the albums were going to be like this.

I couldn't believe he misunderstood the idea like that. I felt like calling him up and telling him he was a dope (!) but I was driving on the highway. :geek:

    ha! you should have.

My local dj announced Avocado 3 years before it came out. (pj has a new alum)

One of the reasons I abandoned radio years ago. Everyone on it always comes across as idiots.

the dj may have been correct. about a month ago on a small online music store showed four versions of the ten reissue available' each one with more and more stuff, all the way up to the deluxe one pj was selling. it said something like available in march. now the product is offline.

The point is...while the re-issue may be sold in four different merchandise packages, it is NOT four different mixes of the music!!! That's what he was claiming. It was idiotic and it made PJ seem ridiculous. As if they couldn't decide which mix was the best!

    UGH!

Yeah, it does seem like a lot of time I will hear DJs make an error about PJ or maybe another band I really like and know a lot about, and it just makes me think that I probably should never take anything I hear on the radio to be 100% true, because if they are getting the stuff I know of wrong, they are probably often doing the same with things I don't know about.

This seems true to me too.
