so i guess i renewed my membership too late and missed this years Deep mag... so i was wondering if anyone would be willing to part with theirs and send it to me?? PM me pls
In July 2007 Densmore said that he would not rejoin The Doors unless it was fronted by Eddie Vedder. Densmore says, "I play with Jim. If there's someone of that level, OK. I'm not gonna join them with Ian. That's not to diss Ian, he's a good singer - but he's no Jim Morrison. Eddie Vedder? My God, there's a singer."

    I changed addresses last October and didn't receive last year's DEEP mag. I emailed Ten Club about it and haven't heard anything. Oh well.

    i think the problem with more oceans being played is that it really is more of an opening song to start their more mellow, benny hall-esque shows (even though they didn't open benny with oceans) and i don't think the eddie and the guys don't feel it fits as an encore opener or a middle-of-set song...so that's why i feel oceans is a rare live song

    I am not sure the guys mind playing it, but rather then for mellow shows, they only bring it out when they are playing a show near the Ocean. So in America, unless you seem them play a show in California, Florida or maybe Virginia Beach or something, you probably wont get to see 'Oceans' live.
