Just had to say.. this message pit is shaping up :o Im digging it!

I might actually have to cut the cord on home sweet home .. Sorry to waste a thread, i just had to give props to whomever put all the cool sticker images up :ugeek:

    I agree completely. I love the old board so its going to take quite a bit to get me detached though.

    haven't spent much time here at all yet. Seeing different things, cool smilies. sticky notices are the birds that flash to the right but in red , not the white for regular thread.tool bar above post/reply box seems more user friendly. Ability once again to post immediately , unlike beta preview version.forgot the online stickfigure!!

    I joined the pit in 2001 or 02, but my profile thingie says otherwise.

    it's probably because the Pit didn't open until August of 2003, which is when we transferred over from the BBS boards, I joined the BBS boards mid 2000 and when they closed that place we had like a weird looking board for about a month and then we finally moved over to The Pit on 2003, so the date you are looking at is probably the date we all registered on The Pit at the time of the transfer rather than the date we joined on the old board.

    Edit: just saw your join date which is the same as mine, it's definitely the date of the transfer from the BBS board to The Pit.

    And yet I have seen registered dates on here with 2000 and 2001..... weird

    Your thread topic scared me :o and I was VERY hesitant to open it. But I did and was glad to see it was PJ related. We really need to have the option to view topics before we open them.

    I'm with y'all. I was skeptical with the test version we had for a couple weeks, but this is sweet now. I too would like to preview threads by holding the cursor over one, but I can get over that. Happy posting!

    i don't really mind this board. it looks nice, and there are some cool features. i do miss the rollover preview thing. and also, for some reason when i access this board, it doesn't have me already logged in, and when i do log in, it says my last visit was whatever the current time is. which means i can't use the NEW POSTS button i clamored for... i don't know what to do. if anyone knows please tell me.

    also, i'm going to miss everyone else. this board is going to have very few members compared to the old one. and personally, i just love the look of the old one. it always feels like home and now i feel like i'm in a strange new place. oh well. i'll get used to it.
