I e-mailed 10c about buying the Ten SuperDuper set without a credit card, but haven't heard back. Anyone ever purchased anything through 10c with something other than a credit card? If so, how'd you go about it? I have the cash for the re-release, but am trying to pay down my credit card and can't put $140 on it right now.

I'm afraid I don't have a direct answer for you, BUT I would suggest you go to the bank, get a bank check, send that to your credit card company for $140.00 and purchase the box set with your credit card.

That should work and not add more to your credit than is currently on it.
  • As long as you pay off that purchase within the billing period you should not be charged interest for it so it's as if you never used it.

Not to be the thread jackass ... but go get a credit card, for God's sake. It's nice for emergencies such as this.
everybody wants the most they can possibly get

Or, how about get a Visa check card attached to your checking account from your bank, if you want to pay with your own money. That is what I use when I would rather use cash instead of credit for stuff online.
  • if you get Santos some sweet seats for a Mariners game or 5 I'm sure he would throw it on his Amex Black card until he received your $140

You can go to any bank or any drug store and buy a Visa or Mastercard giftcard that can be used like a credit card. You have to pay like a $3 fee to activate them. I got like 3 of them as gifts for x-mas...they work perfectly! It is really hard to buy anything online without a credit card or atleast PayPal.

Seriously, dude. Get a bank card issued from your financial institution with a visa/mastercard logo on it and have them attach it to your checking account. It's not a credit card and it simply pulls the cash from your account as if you wrote a check. Pretty simple really.

I'd forgotten about prepaid cards. That seems the quickest/easiest. Thanks.

I'm surprised that the Ten Club haven't embraced Paypal yet. Seems like Paypal can be used everywhere nowadays

why bother with paypal fees and paypal's rules when you don't have to?

as well as then you've got another way for people to try to pull a scam

if you don't have delivery confirmation then PayPal will refund the money

but i guess you're right in that a lot of online stores are moving that way

The only thing about your statement that made you the thread's jackass was your inability to read the initial post. S/he already said
