i really enjoy the songs on itunes at 256 bit compared to 128 bit and when i saw that i could upgrade my purchases to 256 bit for 2 to 3 dollars an album i was happy. what i didn't read is that you are unable to upgrade just one song or an album, you have to do your whole library. why show a per album price and then when you click buy thinking you are spending 2 dollars you get hit for 60 dollars.

i agree. apple could have made far more $$ by allowing us to choose which songs we want to upgrade. most will see the cost of having to upgrade their entire itunes-purchased library and then choose not to, which equals 0.00 in $ale$ for apple.

my brother in law used to be uber-apple. now he's anti-apple because of a lot of things.

He says he now uses Amazon music for downloading songs, because you can dl higher res audio without paying more... or so he tells me. You may want to check that out.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

Yea, I really don't understand the whole idea behind giving the keys to the cookie jar to the fat guy. Does anyone really expect record companies to price ANYTHING under $1.29. Remember, these are the same greedy bastards that sue 13 year old girls for illegally distributing music. They're single-handedly ruining their own existence and we're assuming they're going to price things fairly. I hated iTunes before, I hate it even more now. Just buy the CD and rip it. No muss, no fuss.
I smile, but who am I kidding...
