Chicago Fan Convergence

Hey all,

It's time to celebrate the new year with all your fellow fans in Chitown - so we're planning a convergence!

Right now it's tentatively Saturday, March 28, downtown Chicago

Can't wait to see you all again.. hopefully we can make this one as ginormous and fun as last years

    this is a great idea. def after all the st. pats stuff in march. mybe last fri or sat of march. I have some mystery posters to raffle off proceeds going towards wishlist. keep that part of march in mind or april as i have things going on every weekend until then. cant wait

    Anyone from the Twin Cities area thinking of heading down?? There is NO WAY my car (Gremmie the bright green station wagon...) could handle driving in Chicago.. There's always the Greyhound...haha
    If I make it there in one piece, anyone willing to put me up for the weekend? :)

    We checked out one bar tonight, but have two or three more to narrow down.

    Right now we're tentatively looking at Saturday, March 28...this way we can do a RockBand2 DLC Launch Party & Convergence all in one awesome swoop~!

    Hey all,

    A bunch of updates! Maggie found a sweet bar, the Ashland, who does RockBand regularly and is extremely accommodating to fundraiser events... so we're good to go!

    Just waiting on a final confirmation of the date. The Ashland is working on trying to get us raffle item donations from GameStop and a buffet from one of their partner restaurants.

    Ten will be on the sound system, drinks look great and more info to come soon!


    We'll be celebrating the Re-Release of Ten & the Ten DLC RockBand2 Release!

    Form a band with your friends as you try the new Ten album on RockBand2 as Ed, Matt, Jeff and Mike/Stone on the two xBox 360 giant screen set ups!

    BO'B's remastered Ten will be on the sound system

    Prizes, raffle items, donation items will all be available!

    The Ashland will donate 10% of the sales to the Wishlist Foundation!

    Hi,

    I am in...I live near St.Louis,Mo....I just haven't decided if I want to take the train {$51 roundtrip} or drive...If I take the train?....I will need to find a place to crash for the night....I woudn't mind driving...Just not sure how difficult it will be to find parking...

    Sorry, I'll be in Morocco then. This is my last spring/summer in Chicago for a while too, so it would've been fun :(

    Well if there's a reason not to come, it's definitely Morocco!! How awesome!

    I think you just avoid the parties on purpose though ;)

    Hi,


    Anyone willing to let me crash at their place night of the Convergence?.....All I need is a couch or something like that to crash on for the night and be gone in the morning...I am making a five hour drive each way...Really, don't want to have to pay the big money for a hotel in Chicago....
