BBS Idea - Subcategories by instrument?

What does everyone think about having subcategories for all the PJ instruments? If we had sub-categories for Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keys and "misc" that would make is a lot easier to find info that pertains to a particular instrument. Bad idea? Good idea?

    That would be great, except then we'd have 20,000 people posting in "guitar" and 2 posting in "bass."

    It's like Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp, only worse.

    The way it is now, us guitar players who dabble around can weigh in on other topics. And a lot of us are multi-instrumental.
    ...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

    I think that for those who play drums and keys, it would make it a whole lot easier to use this board, not having to sift thru a million guitar threads. Bass would be similar, as I think that those who dabble in bass would semi-frequently visit the bass thread, but those who play it regularly would visit it regularly.

    I play drums but dabble on guitar. When I'm interested in seeing something about guitar, I'd love to be able to look at a just-guitar thread, and other times look at just-drums thread.
