Avatars?

Are avatars disabled on this forum, if so, that's real dissapointing, because I think they keep things interesting as long as they're well moderated.

I never even noticed that before. Thats surprising considering I have custom avatars for other forums I joined. But to be honest I like this layout, I dont see anything wrong with it.

The only reason I really ask is not so much that I want an avatar myself, fun as that is, but as someone new to the pit, I think it would make it easier for me to make friends more quickly. The whole "not good with names, but i never forget a face" kind of thing.

I find it helps me feel comfortable with a community quicker that way.

Avatars are cool but the downside is they use up MB's, and if you are on a internet plan with limited MB's they get chewed up rather quickly.

Considering that they delete messages here because "they're old", and we've heard numerous times that they are a "small business with limited resources", I doubt avatars are high on the priority list.

Maybe they should fix the clock first. It's not quite 8:35 AM yet where I am, but the timestamp will make it seem like another time.
