How To Save And Convert Videos From Youtube and Others

It will transfer the video into multiple formats, both video and audio.
Video formats: avi, mpg, wmv, mov, etc...
Audio formats: mp3, wav & ogg.

No fancy software needed. Just copy the URL and paste into the website.
You can also upload your videos from your PC and convert it too.

there is no downloading.OK just a little bit at the end :D

1: open the convert link: http://www.mediaconverter.org/index.php?s=convert

2: open youtube and find a video you want to save.

3: copy the youtube's URL of that video. example: PJ's Black Live video
    copy it
    > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFVlJAi3Cso

4: paste that link in http://www.mediaconverter.org/index.php?s=convert
where it says "Convert file by URL" and click NEXT

5: The converter site ask you what file you like to. Select mp3 for audio.
For video select mpg, wmv, or avi. Those are more common.

6: Click next and next again, the site will convert for you.
This Takes about 3 minutes or so.

7: After it has been converted, it will ask you to click the download/save
button. To save as a name, right click the button and give it a name.

8: It will appear in your desktop. There you have it.

Huh? It saves into your desktop so you should be able to watch it like a saved video anytime.

Not sure if it's the same thing you're talking about but for all of the Firefox users out there, get the app called "Unplug". It allows you to download videos from your browser to your desktop and then save them to whatever folder you want. Also, I just recently got an update for RealPlayer and it had this feature, too. It works for both Firefox and IE, the only two browsers I've ever used.

The one I referred to is just a Web site that automatically convert the videos for you. No add-ons or download types.

But FF got some great add-ons though.

Ok, I wasn't sure. And I have to agree Firefox does have some very cool add ons. At the moment the only I have is Unplug but I know it's almost limitless the things you can add to it.

Here's the three that I primarily use, the latter add-on is very helpful when you're searching through the "Download/Share" thread to see what links are dead and which are still alive.

100MB or 10 minutes to transfer into your youtube channel.

it depends on the resolution/quality of the video itself. some videos will go over the 10 minute limit because their resolution is less than par.

I mention it earlier in this thread but thanks a lot for this converter site. I use it quite often to rip audio from youtube.

also, you might want to re-post this in AET so that more people can see it because it is a pretty cool thing.
