not a big fan of memorex, but Maxwell is complete crap. I'll take a no name brand over Maxwell any day

If you have a Costco where you live, I just got 200 Sony DVD-Rs for $29.99, with a coupon the store sends in a booklet 4 times a year. (+Rs were also available- and these are the type that have a printable face)

yeah- you have to be a member of Costco. But if you like to buy in bulk- then its a good deal to be in the membership.

Yup, but the Costco in my town sells gas cheap(er) , and my wife bought me the membership. I've been trying to find someone else I know who isn't going to use their coupon.Then I'll send a hundred blanks to Demetrios to hook me up! LOL! I also just got a Garmin Nuvi 270 for $199 with one of their coupons( also a gift from my gal!!)

I will never buy Sony's again. Every spindle I've ever bought has had about 1\3 if not more discs that are defective. I will definitely stick with verbatim or memorex. Heck, even office depot brand didn't have any that were defective. What crap Sony has become.

Well, luckily I haven't had any problems yet...so I guess I have 66 or so good discs to work with! LOL!

really? I've never had a bad Sony disc and that's pretty much all that I buy

I want to say it's also the retailer but I've bought them from Staples and Best Buy. I liked Sony...but I give up on them.
