    The two obvious publics are thepiratebay and isohunt, some claim go private less risk (and garbage) but most of the big privates are infiltrated as well from a monitoring perspective, but have better selection and bandwidth.

    Lately I've just been googling torrents and getting some good results as well.

    use Utorrent, "force encryption", "no legacy connections", install Peer guardian with a aggressive set of IP exclusion lists from bluetack.co.uk For Linux go with mobloquer, and utorrent via wine....sweet setup for a secure dedicated box.
