Where do I get charging cable thingies?

so my sister found her old minidisc-player and I figured it'd be kinda cool to try recording concerts with it... as a start. but I seem to be unable to find the cable that you need to be able to charge the battery?
oh, knowing folks on the message pit, where does one get that kind of stuff? I don't even know where to look
oh, it's the sony mz-r900?
or is it complete crap and I'm better off with something else?
