the audio works fine on any other site with the flash player. i can't figure it out. i've cleared all temp files and directories. any other advice i've found on the issue of audio problems with the flash player doesn't appply to me, i.e., registry, drivers, codecs.

anyone have a clue?

yep.. it was Prof. Plum in the Billiard Room with the Lead Piping.

if anything i bumped your thread :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

all the advice I've seen is for registry, codecs, etc. so I guess go back and double check those.....

maybe check out the adobe Web site to see if they have a help section or a forum or something that could be useful

I updated from adobe version 9.28 to 9.42 (or something like that), and it works now.

i got this problem yesterday - no sound in Ie or firefox but i was getting sound.

Get the K-lite Codec pack from somewhere - google it

then go to start > all programs > k lite codec pack > configuration > Codec tweak tool

    then fix no audio.
