Not sure how i feel about this...

I don't quite know how I feel about this new forum. Whats the general consensus here? I feel like i'm away from home posting here. It's different. Weird. hmm...

    My biggest complaint right now is the lack of a "new posts" button ...

    Things are definitely quiet over here.
    I'm a bit sad I can't figure out how to get my sn on this board, but otherwise it looks good. I like the options and once the transition is complete, I'm sure it will be fine. It's not like we haven't all moved boards before. At least there is a transition this time and not a blackout.

    I do have one question - what's up with the joined dates? Joined what?

    yeah, i was wondering that too? i originally joined in 1996.

    i think it is the join date for the message board, i joined 10c in 94 so it is definitely not 10c join date.

    I don't know my join date, but the earliest 10c stuff I have dates me to about spring/summer 1993. The only other thing I can think of is that I had them correct the spelling of my last name around 97 or 98.
    No clue?
    Maybe that's when they redid the system or something?

    I'm leaning towards the old board and site. Main problem is I usually keep up to date with news etc via my mobile when I'm away from home and can't access the net (which is a lot). However, the new pages seem to be so large my phone (lg renoir) can't handle it and keeps freezing :( !

    So fucking slow at this point. And my pc seems to freeze up a lot on it. I'll hang on the old one until this one's cleaner.

    I liked the old one better. This one made me change my name to not have "?". Also there aren't smilies, and it feels less friendly than the other one.

    I STILL prefer the old synergy board from the '90s. Oh well. This one isn't bad. It's tediously slow on my iphone, even with Wifi.

    i think this one will eventually be just as good--and hopefully better--than the old one. but yeah...it does feel a little strange. i'm just going to try to keep up with both for now!!

    I think it's just a question of time till we all have inured to the new board. And who knows ... when they've fixed all bugs and the board isn't that slowly anymore ... we don't wanna trade the new pit off against the old one hehe ...
