Facebook bullshit

so i'm on Facebook and it was working okay i guess but lately i haven't been able to do ANYTHING on it. only tasks i can do are limited to the blue toolbar at the top. i can't write on anyone's wall, become a fan of anything or request new friends. does anyone else have problems like this w/ Facebook? i know it's a buggy application but still... i don't think it has worked this week all but once.

    I installed the bumper sticker app and now all of a sudden I dont have it anymore and when people send me a bumper sticker it won't show up. Thats about it though.

    The new facebook is horrible, although I got used to it already.

    i deleted / got out of facebook, myspace, hi5, friendfinder .. and about another dozen something personal pages a few day's ago. i think enough was enough with them.

    it got out of hand. it got pretty emotional & depressing that i had to shut eveything down. aswell, for day's before, i didn't like a few of their security & new apps that they were adding to their websites. it was getting just out of hand. if you every used lavasoft adware or spysweeper etc.. that detected adware .. facebook is a huge tally. check it out for yourself.

    i didn't like it either. as millions signed up groups to not use it, it wasn't listened to. remember day's later somebody had made an option to keep the old facebook. but 3 day's later or so, the code was deleted.

    i'm very sorry that i deleted the accounts without telling my friends prior there that i was gonna .. delete the accounts asap. but things happened that i just had to end it all. i wasn't feeling myself & it got pretty emotional that i had to call it quits with all those pages.

    my real friends know where to find me. they also have my email addy.
    i got many of them on msn messenger. so it's np!

    i've never had an account with any of them :D though my gf is saying she is going to start a myspace page and operate it for me when/if i ever get the album ive been recording for the past 3 years done !!! lol.

    anyway. im just glad you decided to stay around here. you are one of the good ones ;)

    got a reply back saying i should switch my web browser to Firefox or Safari. i use Internet Explorer like a chump. downloading Safari now.

    the new version is a lot better
    all of the crap people install is now off the main page!
    i don't care for 99% of that shit!
    also, you can block the applications, so you no longer have to put up with stupid requests from zombies and warewolves etc etc.

    The OP's problem was probably due to IE6, it is old, and doesn't like the coding i guess

    I'm a facebook addict but I hate this new layout. It's shit. Took me a while to get used to it. You can still request friends but you can't use the wall anymore like you used to.

    are you using firefox? if not, do that. if so, or evben if you want to stick with internet explorer, update everything, flash, java, etc.. Primarily java. The new Facebook uses alot of different elements to give it the feel that it has currently. One of those elements being Java/Javascript. If both of those are up to date, it should function alot better.

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    it doesnt take much getting used to!
    much simpler, no scrolling through all the crap, that has been moved all onto 1 page!
