yeah, so a window popped up saying that almost all of my harddrive is used up (mostly iTunes i'd think). it's a 74.4GB harddrive and i only have 7.something left. i went and deleated a bunch of programs, games, music i don't want but i need at least 15.whatever GB free to run defrag. i wondering about getting a 2nd internal harddrive and dedicating that soley to iTunes. my question is am i capable to just point and click to move iTunes to that second drive w/out any problems. like, it won't deleate all the song info back to Unknown Artist Track 1?

not even sure my computer will take a 2nd harddrive but i'll find out soon enough (my buddy is coming over Sunday to crack it open).

i'm also going to get an external harddrive to back shit up.

Instead of that what you should do is just (if you're going to get an external hard drive) move all your stuff to the external and just replace your current one with a larger hard drive and then transfer your files back to the new one.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

    bingo bingo

    good answer

if you have a dvd burner, you may want to back up your music on discs while reconfiguring your system

if there is a slot inside your computer to add a second drive, then you can move your mp3's over to it then let itunes reindex your library.....i haven't done it in a couple years but it isn't that big of a deal....

no, i mean click and drag iTunes-fully loaded w/ all my shit over to harddrive #2 and everything will be okay. the same way you'd move a folder from one place to another.
