Got a new monitor a few days ago.
It works great for about a half hour,
then the power light on it goes out, it turns itself off and it won't come back on.

I have to unplug it from the power source, let it sit for about 15 minutes,
then plug it back in, turn it on and it works fine for another half hour till it turns off again.

I've tried cleaning everything, and making sure the connections are all good,
and changed the energy saving settings to not turn it off, but nothing has helped.

Any ideas?

If it turns itself off after 1/2 hour, even if you are working on it, something is wrong. Return it to the shop and get yourself another one.

Does this happen while plugged in, or just battery power?
