Anybody have Musicmatch Jukebox. When transfering a recording to an MP3 file, anyone know how to cut off down time or dead time at the end of a song? Like on a live recording for instance.

  • I had musicmatch for a long time. I kinda miss the library thing.
Anyhow, I don't know of a way to fix it using musicmatch, but you could search for an mp3 splicer online (should be plenty for free). You can then install it and ideally tell it where to cut your song (with the intention to remove the dead air). I do this all the times with hidden tracks. Heck, I even took this to the QOTSA album songs for the deaf cuz I got annoyed of hearing the radio part on the cd.

you can convert to wav and fix it in an wav editor(which you may have), but then you deal with compessing and uncompressing a file.

Well I'm somewhat technology retarded but I'll give it a try as well.
