needing ipod help as well...

I was hoping someone could tell me what to try if the ipod mini is playing music, but the screen won't show up? I've only had it for a year and it shouldn't die already. I'd gladly try any advice. It's charging right now-would rather not get charged $65 for getting advice from one of the apple people over the phone.......had a lot of PJ on it of course!

    Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it sounds like your screen is damaged. You can try a reset (hold menu and select button down at same time for 5-10 sec. till Apple logo appears) or check out this for repairs:

    i've never heard of anyone fixing a broken screen on their own. thats what i hate about apple- they release shit yet everyone buys it (including me).
