google and AIM don't work...

WTF is going on.....??????

oh I have a mac.

    Google trouble might be a script coding problem. Go to Tools > Options > Error Console and clear it out.

    Can you just uninstall AIM and download a new AIM? (just remember your username & password so you can still have your info/buddy list on there)

    EDIT: remember, i'm using a PC though, could be different. ;)

    google is a part of my tool bar... does that change anything>?

    Don't know, I dont use Firefox anymore because of their excessive addons and toolbars. (I only use Opera now, much less hassle and haven't had any site blockage problems with it like I did with FF)

    Try going to Views > Toolbars > Customize and delete some of the addon/toolbar features that you dont need.

    aim says won't connect cause of "connection timeout"??? I'm so lost!

    You probably can't visit Google, youtube, wikipedia, yahoo, ect... but can still see the Pit and other certain sites, right?

    Try clearing your cookies, cache and console. I usually do that when that happens and it usually works.

    They're part of the browsers functions and toolbox--- some features blocks popups, some blocks sites that may contain spywares.

    U must have enabled one of the features that blocked Google and AIM.

    Go to "Tools" and see the options if you can unblock or disable somw of the features.

    I emptied the cache.....

    Is it still messed up?

    Safari's toolbars are under Edit > Preferences > Security is where the cookies are. Also you can uncheck the Web Content to get Google(other sites) to open and then recheck the Content when those sites are back.
