how to download FLAC files onto a Mac?

i can't seem to download FLAC files onto my Mac...it shows as a blank page and asks for an application...I'm new to this...any help?

    Open the FLAC files with either one of these applications.

    FLACfront http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html
    or
    WINamp http://www.winamp.com/player

    The FLAC files are huge so if that's what you're referring to then yes. It'll take awhile to download FLACs b/c the memorybite is in the 500-600+MBs unlike the MP3's.

    My connecting is slow so it does take me like 3-4 hours to download something that is 500MB.

    ok that's about right then...it's been a few hours and it says i have 15 mins left.

    Cool! now have you downlaod both the .rar files?

    once both are downloaded then you can extract them together to open by using Winrar. http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm (MAC)

    It seems complicated but once you get a hang of it it'll be easy.
    Once you downloaded both the .Rar files, holla back if you're having trouble opening them. :)

    there's something i'm not doing right.
    i downloaded macflac...it showed up as an icon on my desktop....then i did the mega up load....they downloaded as pages (?) then the link u just gave me just looks like a folder icon.

    i don't know how to get any of them to work together. :(

    Try this, stuffit expander.

    OPen files with stuff it expander and then choose the destination of your choice for the files. Opening them in itunes would work well.

    It extracts files. Simply, right click and open with stuff it. It will then ask you for the destination point of the files. What errors/messages are you receiving?
