    people bump a thread so it will be on the first page of the board so others can read and discuss whatever topic said thread is..........

    bumping just brings the thread back to the top of the first page. also something you should know is the search feature. click search then advanced search and you can search for threads that have already been made. mods hate when multiple threads on the same subject are made. welcome aboard

    when no one responds or adds a post to a thread and they want to "bump" it up some people see it.

    start a thread, similar to this, and ask a question that no ones answers immediately and then the thread finds it's way to page 7. enter a reply with bump or bumpity bump, etc...
    I'll scream my lungs out...'til I fill this thread!

    Bumping is term used for sending a thread back to the top of the page.. :p
