Ive been thinking and The Grand Rapids 06 show was insane and anyone who was there or has heard the boot will probably agree with me on that. The Crowd that night was amazing. So it got me thinking. Grand Rapids should get three shows on the next tour. I think we Easily rival the Boston and New York crowds. anyone else agree?
Shows:
San Diego 2003
Grand Rapids 2004
Grand Rapids 2006
Detroit 2006
Columbus 2010

No one rivals the NYC crowds. We had MSG SHAKING during DTE so much so, Eddie got scared!

I was at the 04' GR show and the 06' GR. I also went to MSU and although the Michigan shows are good, they aint New York.

actually out of all the shows I've been to in different cities I think the Cleveland fans are the most crazy. I don't know if they are the best, but it's always loud as hell in that place and everyone is flat out roudy. You can hear it on the bootlegs too, it's just a giant party. NY crowds are good too, but in a different way

GR is good, it should supplant Detroit as Michigan's usual PJ date. Granted 06 Detroit was on a Monday, but it felt like a let down after Fri. Grand Rapids show. Maybe they should play Ann Arbor, always a good destination. Plus the Chrysler can hold enough folks.

I'm just hoping for one show at GR. They could play at the minor league stadium so we could get an outdoor show.

Besides, I'm sure they will play The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald this time.

5/3 Ballpark? I guess that would be kind of cool, but I would definitely prefer Van Andel.

I like Van Andel better too, but I think it would depend on the date. If it's the dog days of summer, it's likely to be an outdoor show.
