Is there any freeware out there that will overlap 2 songs? like the ending of one and the start of the next? And then save the two as 1 track? kind of like mixing the two together to be one? any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure about free stuff, I would use Cool Edit Pro, but I think it's changed, it's been bought out by Adobe or something.

You can try using Windows Movie Maker, but it always crashes on me, so I won't be able to help you with it.

I found something that does this on Windows Media player 10, its quite good when you are listening to various live tracks.

If you have WMP 10 select 1. Now Playing 2. Enhancements 3. Crossfading and auto volume levelling. You will then see a slider which will you what you want, I normally set it at 3 secs and it works perfectly.

  • you can adjust the start and ending times on Itunes, and have like a 5 second overlap...but It still lists it as separate tracks when you burn it to a disc.

And no one sings me lullabyes
And no one makes me close my eyes
So I throw the windows wide
And call to you across the sky....
