What is the difference between a 486 SX and DX processor?
Bonus: What is the difference between a DX and DX/2?

I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

SX:32- and DX 64- architecture??
That's all i found:) I've just started to learn about computers on a course:)

Actually, the 486 DX and the 486 SX are from the same 80486 family of processors. The only difference being that the Floating Point Unit was disabled on the SX model. The DX2 is an 80486 that runs at twice the clock speed of the external BUS, Front Side Bus.
But I have fun:)

I'm not sure about this.
其实, 486的dx和486的sx都是从同一个80486系列处理器。唯一的区别在于,该浮点单元是残疾人就的sx模式。该dx2是80486违背两倍时钟速度,外部总线,前端汇流排。

I see, so now you don't need to know anything.
DX2 has double clockz
Congrats.
Someone else has to post a question or I'm going to keep doing it.

You have 2 pieces of equipment, both using RS-232 signaling. They are both DTE devices. Do you need cross over or straight through pinning?
I was thinking OSPF
