How to get 8mm video on my computer?

I have 8mm video tapes, but I dont have the camera anymore. How do I get those on my computer? Do I buy some sort of converter? Someone told me to search Ebay for one.? Do I buy a 8mm camera? And I guess I need to get a video software? What would you recommend?

    well you'll need something to play the vids so the camera is a must....there are companies that you can give your vids to that will convert them

    If you can get a hold of a Digital8 camcorder you'll be able to do it.
