iTunes music store qtn

Ok, so I have itunes downloaded to my computer and it opens and plays music just fine. However, when I try to get to the iTunes music store, it tries to access it for a few seconds, then I get this message "ITunes could not connect to the Music Store. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again".
I seem to be accessing anything else online no problem. Does anyone know what settings I have to change? It's so frustrating!

Sounds like a firewall issue to me, try disabling your firewall?0
