I'm having a brain fart and google and microsoft searches aren't helping me

I know there is a way to enable the windows key to become locked. So basically it will lock your machine when you hit "L" or launch explorer when you hit "E". I just can't remember to enable and disable it.

Anyone?

Microsoft has an article on it here
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/216893

You can also use the .reg files here
    http://johnhaller.com/jh/useful_stuff/disable_windows_key/

If you want to reverse it later on you will need to delete the registry entry.

Download the remove_scancode_mapping.reg file and put it in a safe place.

Or delete this key in the registry
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
    "Scancode Map"

Or did you want the Windows Key to be always on?

I wanted to know if there was a way I could keep it locked for a while without going to regedit. I could've sworn I'd done it before.
