How do i check whether or not my computer has a sound card?

there is no sound but there arent speakers but there are holes on the thing that look like sound is supposed to come out of them so im confused

    You should be able to do this to check your sound card

    -Right click my computer and choose "manage"
    -Select "device manager"
    -Expand the "sound & video game controllers tab"

    You should be able to see the sound card there.

    That sound will be very crappy. You'll want to buy some speakers. Shouldn't be too expensive.
