thanks ya'll I will be downloading utorrent tonight. I shouldnt have any issues opening/transferring all the current torrents I have in bittorrent.exe right?

I didn't had any problems while I transfered the downloads from azureus to utorrent.

One thing: right-click on the torrent after transferring it to utorrent and click on 'Force Re-Check'.

uTorrent is good 'cause its lightweight,

but i also like bit comet which is a very good as it has links to all the other popular torrent sites like mininova and pirate bay etc..

lightweight is good. I am always running several other apps and need it to use as less resources as possible.

I still use Shadows Experimental which has worked very well. There's a newer incarnation of the same thing called Bit Tornado.

Azureus is great if you've got RAM to spare and then some, but this guy was looking for something lightweight, and Azureus definitely ain't that.

Utorrent is the way to go, and it also links to Mininova, Pirate Bay, TorrentSpy and a few others.

To be honest, I've never tried it, I'm not a big fan of trying everything out. I just stick to BitComet, because it's what I've got. It runs like shit too though.

Maybe I'll check out Utorrent though.
