Dreamweaver MX - help?

I have to add a bunch of pictures to my website. I've been working on this all week. It's been easy until just now.

The thumbnails are already 72dpi / 3/5"wide, just like all the others.

But now I'm getting an error
"Dreamweaver can't open .jpg files. Please choose an HTML, XML or other compatible file"

If I drag and drop some of the other .jpg pictures from the right-side image "FILES" into my design, it works fine - but any of these new images are getting this error.

Can anyone help? I'm a novice, and this is the first time I'm having this problem.

    nevermind!!

    Aparently - you need to save images as RGB. CMYK images are not recognized. That's an odd thing...
