Burning Bootleg

Okay well i just bought the Live in Winnipeg bootleg (amazing show by the way) and i am trying to figure out the best way to burn this. If i follow the label they've provided then the second disc is too long for an 80 min cd (unless i take out the Encore Break which i have no problem doing and it's not on the label anyways). Also, i am using Nero 6 and i can't figure out if i can make the cd "seamless". I put the break on each song down to zero and am using the disc-at-once feature and there is still a short pause in between songs. Neither of these are critical but i would like to know if anyone knows a better program (or possibly how to make it work on Nero) for getting rid of those pauses.

There's a new Touch Base forum in the Given to Fly (live) section that was set up for technical issues with the downloads, and you may have better luck posting your question there.

There's a thread in there regarding gaps between songs. Personally, I am using Nero 6 and cannot figure out how to eliminate the gap or click in between songs.

I've tried Disk at Once, setting the gaps manually from 2 seconds to 0 seconds, cross fading with various frame settings, and unfortunately nothing has worked.

There was also an extensive discussion regarding the gap topic in the Bootleg FAQ thread.

  • The gap you are hearing is actually at the end of the song.

Here's what Save You looks like opened up in an audio editor.

Notice the area at the end of the song with no sound wave.
Simply delete that part of the song and the Gap will be gone.
