Vista

Okay, So I was setting up somebody's new computer, but it is the first time I have used Vista. The system recovery is way different than before. I went into control panel --> backup folder (err whatever it is called), then threw everything onto an external harddrive. I also set a recovery point.

This doesn't look right. I saw no Windows folder when I looked at it later. Is just using the Vista disk for recovery best? If so, I will put a copy of that on my Idrive as well.
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

Well I run vista at my school computer and it does have a windows folder. Maybe for some reason it was hidden, or its just a messed up installation. I would put all the information on the external drive the do a clean install of vista on a new partition (10 - 15 gigs to be safe), then make a new partition for all your data and put your data on their. Next time if vista gets messed up you don't lose all your data. BTW I haven;t dont system restore on vista but ill do it tmr at school.
