Live Concert Format

It's great news that upcoming shows will be available freely. However, it is important to think about technical issues such as maximum compatibility, quality-to-file size ratio, etc. I think that by far the best choice for the music, next to some lossless format like FLAC, would be the ogg vorbis (http://vorbis.com/) format. It is a high quality (superior to mp3) format that is non-proprietary (not patented like AAC and MP3) and thus available on the greatest number of platforms and software.
As it's quality-to-bitrate ratio is so much greater than that of mp3, it would save a significant amount of bandwidth for the servers, as well as make the downloads take less time for the end listener, and even take up less hard drive space (if that's an issue for anyone). This format is also supported by a variety of players from iRiver to Cowon models.
Just some thoughts. It would be a shame to see the music in low quality (patented) mp3 format, or something ridiculously encumbered by patents such as AAC.
Thanks!
