a film which i am downloading now, is about 780 Mb in size.

however the standard blank CD allows only 700 mb to be written into it.

i once heard of 800 mb cds, whcih can be used using something called the "afterburn/overburn" feature in Nero.

can someone please give exact details about this after/over-burn technique or state any alternate way in which i could burn the film into a cd.

why not get a blank DVD which holds 4700mb ?

surely it would make more sense to burn it on a dvd so you can watch on a dvd player ?

If you download DVD shrink, it will automaticaly re size it. You may loose 80mb quality or whatever but i serously doubt that quality will be unwatchable. Is it a dvd rip?
