This morning I had issues with my internet connection. I had to have the cable company reset my connection... so everything came up fine, but within an hour the computer shut off..... I can't turn it back on. The monitor works and every thing is plugged in.....

Any ideas?????

Thanks in advance

When you press the power button do you hear the fan? If not then it's possible the power supply has died. You will need to have it replaced.

Cutback is right. The power supply is most likely toast. The good news is that it can be a cheap part to replace, depending on what your system demands are. If you know someone who is technically inclined to fix this it'll take them 5 minutes to fix.

I know this sounds stupid but check to make sure your plugs are seated in the computer all the way, you know make sure none are lose or got pulled out by accident.
