2008 Bootleg/iTunes Question

Is there any way to get iTunes to put an entire show from the 2008 mp3 Bootlegs as one cd? Every time I import any of the shows it divides them into two parts, which I am assuming would be two disks if they were burned on a cd. I have tried everything I can think of to put all the tracks together as one cd. I've changed the labeling on the album, I've changed the info information for the tracks labeling the track numbers in order from 1 to how ever many tracks there are in the entire show, I've changed the disc number info so the tracks are all in disc 1 or 1 rather than disc 1 of 2. Yet after all of this itunes still divides the show into two parts and will not allow me to put all the tracks together. I know this is not a huge deal, I can always label the shows as disc 1 and disc 2, but I like to have the show tracks all together so the shows can play straight through. I hope this makes sense to someone, I am not that technical with computers, I just figured out you could change track info using the get info part of iTunes while trying to figure out how to fix my situation. Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

I don't know how this translated to the downloads, but it may be something similar. Something was labeled differently within the same download. Even an extra space can make a difference. Also check the artist because some of the discs came up as Pearl Jam 2008 and some as Pearl Jam.
Good luck!
Your not the only one;
I am trying to put them together so they play in order. I have tried grouping by Album, Artist, Album by Artist, etc and nothing I do will group the two (or three) discs as one show. I have about 1500 cd's (9K plus songs) in my iTunes. I am having the same issue as you. I have always been able to change the info so that all cd's in the "album" or show group together. My Mansfield 1 second disc imported as the year 2000. I copied the name of one disc and renamed the other, made sure they are multi disc (1 of 2, etc.) and tried everything I have in the past to have them show up as "one" show. I have not been able to resolve this issue.
I can only suggest making a playlist and dragging each disc into it.
If I figure out why it's not working I will post back!!

Then select all songs from d2, use "get info", and delete whatever's in the album field. When you start typing "Live" it will guess what you want to fill in. Just type enough letters to get "Live: 08/03/00 - Virginia Beach, VA" to show up, and because it's filling it in for you, the album titles should match exactly.
Also, you want the discs to be labeled "1 of 2" and "2 of 2" or similar. Then the tracks need to be labeled "1 of 14" through "14 of 14" for d1 and "1 of 12" through "12 of 12" for d2.
iTunes knows what this means and your ipod should show this as one album. Some troubleshooting tips:
--> Do all the files have the same information in the artist field? For example, if you have R.E.M.'s album Out of Time and Shiny Happy People has the artist listed as "R.E.M. feat. Kate Pierson", that track will not show up on the album if you browse your ipod to artists > R.E.M. > Out of Time. Again, you can use the auto-predict feature to get the name exactly right.
--> Using the "get info" feature, you can click on the Sorting tab to make sure you're not secretly sorting the show under an artist "PJ live" even though the actual tag says Pearl Jam.
--> Try using the search box in iTunes to filter on the show title. Do all the songs show up, in order? If so, then there is some tag that's tricking your ipod. That can help narrow down the problem.
Feel free to post specific problems and we can all try to help figure them out. I haven't put this year's shows in iTunes yet but I have several old ones working great.

It's way more useful and helpful in my opinion than anything iTunes has to offer. It also lets you add album artwork as desired.
