How to remove Yahoo toolbar??!!

I visited Wolfmother's homepage the other day and was asked to install Flashplayer. I did and no harm done. But with it came a Yahoo! toolbar.
I've tried removing it in "add/remove programs" and even hit a button called "remove Yahoo toolbar" on the toolbar itself. But nothing happens!
I'm so sick and tired of having shit installed that I can't remove!
Anybody know how to get rid of it?

if you're using internet explorer try this

under tools

---

> internet options ----> click on the advanced tab ----> scroll down and un-check the box that says 'enable third party browser extentions(requires restart) -- click apply --- ok --- restart!

Aha it worked! Ding dong. The toolbar's gone!
